Diego is a 3L at UC Law San Francisco with interests in environmental law and refugee law. Diego recently participated in the 2024 UC Law San Francisco Refugee and Human Rights Clinic's fact-finding delegation to Honduras. During the trip, he interviewed human rights activists and government officials about country conditions such as environmental degradation and climate-induced migration. Prior to working at the CGRS, Diego clerked for the general counsel of a local water district, where he worked on land-use and environmental regulatory issues.
