Please join the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies (CGRS) for a webinar on law and policy updates related to asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT) (collectively referred to as “fear-of-return” claims). The Trump administration has changed law and policy surrounding fear-of-return claims, seeking to severely restrict or eliminate access to protection in the United States. In this webinar, CGRS attorneys will review recent law and policy changes and identify strategies to confront these new challenges.
