Please join the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies (CGRS) for an introduction to litigating appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”). This webinar will give a detailed review of each stage of a BIA appeal, from initiating the appeal to options after the BIA decides a case. Presenters will address critical considerations such as identifying the immigration judge’s errors, applying standards of review, and grappling with difficult facts and law. It will also provide practical guidance on client counseling and briefing.
