We are so proud to announce that our very own Co-Legal Director Blaine Bookey has been selected to receive the prestigious David Carliner Public Interest Award! The Carliner Award is a national award given by the American Constitution Society (ACS) to a mid-career public interest lawyer whose work best exemplifies David Carliner’s legacy of fearless, uncompromising, and creative advocacy on behalf of marginalized people. Blaine will be presented with the Carliner Award at the ACS National Convention in June, where CGRS will also receive a modest cash award for which we are grateful.
