Please join CGRS for this webinar installment on changes affecting asylum law and policy under the new presidential administration. The Circumvention of Lawful Pathways and Securing the Border Rules (often called “CLP” and “STB”) are Biden-era bars to asylum that can lead to the denial of otherwise eligible asylum claims. The webinar will walk through both rules along with recent changes under the new Trump administration including the end of CBP One, the end of parole programs for people from certain countries, and the continuing availability of exemptions and exceptionally compelling circumstances to overcome application of the rules.

Attendees are highly encouraged to submit questions on the registration form.
