Please join the Immigrant Health Equity & Legal Partnerships (ImmHELP) for a webinar on humanitarian asylum claims. Applicants for asylum who have experienced past harm may qualify for humanitarian asylum even if the presumption of a well-founded fear of future persecution is rebutted. In this webinar, we will discuss trauma-informed approaches to identifying humanitarian asylum as a basis for protection. We will discuss the role that health professionals may play and review the legal requirements, including best practices for documenting and presenting a strong humanitarian asylum claim.
