Please join the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies for this MCLE webinar. The interactive webinar will focus on preparing individuals seeking asylum for interviews before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. It will address considerations to take into account regarding the individual’s age, developmental stage, trauma history and other factors. The passage of time may introduce additional challenges, including changes in asylum law and policy, memory issues, and new developments impacting the case. Through role plays and case scenarios, we will encourage attendees to participate and discuss best practices for testimony preparation.
Attendees are highly encouraged to submit questions on the registration form.
This webinar will be recorded. The recording and materials will be made available to all registrants after the webinar.
