Human Rights Research Intern

Yamileth is currently working on updating CGRS Country Conditions toolkits, which are used by immigration attorneys to assist their clients' cases. Yamileth has been collecting data from various sources to highlight the ineffective governmental functions of Latin American Countries and their relevance to asylum seekers. 

Prior to interning with CGRS, Yamileth worked with Oasis Legal Services as a Paralegal intern. Yamileth worked directly with clients seeking asylum, assisting with their declarations and I-589s. Yamileth is currently employed by Alliance Charter schools as a Parent Engagement Specialist in East Los Angeles. Yamileth facilitates parent workshops that aids students' personal and academic success.
