Human Rights Research Intern

Pronouns: she/her

Sonia is a fourth-year student at the University of California, Riverside, majoring in Political Science/International Affairs. She is currently focusing on gender-based issues affecting women in El Salvador. Over the past year, she has dedicated more than 500 hours to community service, providing essential support to her local riverside community.  Additionally, Sonia has interned at the Blue Education Foundation, where she worked to raise awareness and advocate for reform on how aid is distributed to students. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, painting, crocheting and exploring San Francisco.
